Ashley's history is similar to many in the Northern Virginia region. After growing up in a small town, Ashley moved to Northern Virginia in 1996, to work for the Federal Government. She has lived overseas - in fact, all three of her children have been born on different continents! Ashley has lived in Alexandria for over 10 years in a home she and her husband renovated. She is a community volunteer and is deeply involved in the Fairfax County Schools. She has served on the county Title I school committee; on planning, zoning, and historic boards in other areas; and as president of her neighborhood. She hosts weekly neighbor gatherings in her neighborhood.
